Xiaomi today launched it's first Dual-Lens camera setup smartphone in India with a price tag of Rs 14,999.
It was launched in India as a Global launch which is good and this phone look's pretty impressive with it's feature's.
The phone is launched with the android one as xiaomi partnered with google to power it with stock android.
Ya you heard it right there's no MIUI on this phone , complete stock android experiance on a xiaomi phone ever thought this could happen but now it's live.
there's just a one variant with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
the phone feature's a premium design like the ONEPLUS 5 AND iPHONE 7 PLUS which is now getting common these day's.

It has a 5.5 inches Full hd display with 2.5D corning gorrila glass protection on the front and pack's qualcomm snapdragon 625 which is a octa-core chipset clocked at 2.0 GHZ.
Mi A1 comes with Hybrid dual sim slot and has a 3080 mah non-removable battery with USB TYPE-C . It comes with all the sensor's and IR blaster too.
phone weight's 168 gram's and has dimension's 155.4*75.8*7.3.
Phone has just 3 mi application's and has no blootware.
The phone runs on Android nougat 7.1.2 and would get Android Oreo update in a couple of months.
So, you now need not to worry about the updates as now it is powered with android which makes this phone special, you would get updates on time which was earlier not possible dur to late Xiaomi updates and which is a good thing.
People who earlier wanted to use a Xiaomi phone but didn't liked their UI can now get pure android feel and can stay happy.
One of the other highlight's of this phone is it's dual-lens camera which has a one telephoto and another a wide angle lens for your photos.
Both the lens are of 12 mega-pixel's , one with f2.2 aperature(wide angle) and another f2.6 aperature telephoto lens. You get 2x optical zoom due to telephoto lens and 10x digital optical zoom which would result in loss of quality of the photo's.
In the camera app it also has a potrait mode for bokeh effect's.
It got a flagship camera so it must be comsidered for the price it is launched.
In the front it has a 5 mega-pixel camera which comes with Real time beautification feature for your selfie's. the potrait mode is not so impressive and it's too early to judhe the phone's camera.
Now, all the company are keen on bringing smartphones with dual camera setup which was earlier accessible on flagship phone's only.
This phone would compete with other phones in the market like coolpad play 6, Moto G5s Plus , Lg Q6 and many more.
The sound output on this phone is also good as Xiaomi said that it comes with a built in amplifier for the Audio.
INITIAL THOUGHT'S :-
Phone looks good on paper and should perform well. The phone is a absolute scorer in terms of software and performance but phone has not any special feature and is a quite decent deal.
Moto G5s Plus has a quite better camera compared to this phone.
It can be operated using single hand and feel's comfortable to hold.
Thumbs Up to Xiaomi for powering the phone with Android One as earlier Android one used to come with average phones and is now back with a good phone.
Phone is slighly above than average for now and let's see how it perform's in the future.
